If I like one thing about Ubi's Assassin's Creed games, it's the menu option to turn off the HUD entirely. It still doesn't excuse its letterboxing, also present in the previous game and in BG&E. It's tempting enough to make a guy shell out some dosh for a 1080p monitor...
